Daniel & Linda Wills, the 4th generation of the Wills family to live in Malaysia, incorporated Winter Snow Sdn. Bhd. in 1992. Linda had set up and run a flying ambulance service in the Malidve Islands, where she met Daniel and they subsequently ran a successful commercial and sport diving business on Male’. Moving back to Malaysia was a dream for Daniel having grown up on a plantation in Johor.
Winter Snow Sdn. Bhd. owns and operates Sea Gypsy Village Resort & Dive base on Pulau Sibu, Johor, a remote island in the Sultan Iskandar marine park. Their children Richard, 31, and Jade, 30, have both played integral rolls in the development of the resort, as have their valued staff, many of whom have been with them for years and years. In fact we often employ the children of our staff!
In 1997 Sea Gypsy Town Travel & Tours (formerly know as Sea Gypsy Johor Sdn. Bhd.) was incorporated to operate their administration, transport & supplies department in Johor Bahru and in 2018 our 360⁰ media company, Jade Wills Photography Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated. Finally Pribumi Laut Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in 2019 as Richard’s tree surgery company.
In 2020 the family decided to develop their brand by advertising all aspects of their various companies under the name Sea Gypsy Town and we are collectively known as The Sea Gypsies.
